Jason left yesterday for what seems like may be an eternity. Those of you who know me well are all asking "What will your project be while Jason is gone?" I can't decide!!!! I have never in my life had this problem. Jason goes away...Jen does something crazy...dig up the front yard, paint the entire interior of the house, etc...
This time I can't decide what to do. I'm taking suggestions!!!
At first I thought a new dining table would be so great. I went to RC Willey where a friend of ours works. We have pretty much from the beginning of our marriage gotten all of our furniture, carpet, and appliances with his help. When I saw him today I told him I wanted a new dining table...and without missing a beat he says "Jason's out of town again?" Hah hah funny funny!!

So here are my options...please ponder and submit your suggestion. And remember I have a reputation to uphold, I can't have Jason come home to find nothing was done.

1) clean the basement
2) create raised garden beds in back yard
3) clean garage and have floor painted (I'm thinking pink!!)
4) conquer the laundry pile (this one might shock Jason to death)

Kristen, (to who/whom I dedicate this blog, without you I never/probably wouldn't/might have started this) the no shower idea is fantastic but you have to promise to still be my friend and still come to playgroup...I have febreeze. And a better question than "who would waste their time coming up with such a word" is "who would waste their time typing such a word" I am sure me and that person are related somewhere along the line. :)

I called the fire station looking for my husband and was told he was out with Elleanore. I will never be able to compete...she is 44 feet long, weighs 73,500 lbs, has all wheel steering, a 105 ft ariel device, a 2000 gallon per minute pump, a rescue pulley system on the ladder, a fridge in the back and she is fire engine red. Yeah, but can she clean toilets!!???

Spring has left the building!

I am beginning to wonder if spring suffers from multiple personality disorder or bipolar disorder. Jason keeps telling me its just Utah weather, one minute it's 80 degrees and the next minute it is snowing...grrrrrrrr!!! Today Josh went outside totally nakie. I told him it was cold and he needed to put clothes on. He disagreed and headed out back. Not 30 seconds later he came in asking for a jacket??? How bout some pants big guy??!!

Autism Awareness Month...

April is officially Autism Awareness Month. Approximately 1 in 150 children are being diagnosed with autism. Utah's rate is even higher, about 1 in 136. It is so important that people are educated and understand at the very least the basics of this disorder. Through April you can go to www.barnesandnoble.com/autism and read "Since We're Friends: An Autism Picture Book" by Cleste Shally and David Harrington. It's free online this month. It is a cute book that helps explain autism to kids...and adults :) When it comes to Autism, understanding, compassion and tolerance are so important.

Congrats Down Under!!!

Liz and Lewis are getting married!!! The date is set for Jan. 10 2009. I am so excited for them. My kids may FINALLY someday have cousins on my side of the family...mmmhhhhmmmm siblings who shall go unnamed...you know who you are. Unfortunately the before mentioned and as of yet non existent cousins won't be on the same continent...Hey Liz and Lewis, the house down the street is for sale :)

Okay, so I am starting a blog for our family. I was talking to Jason last night about the whole process and the possibility that this may turn out like the whole laminating phase...I swear had the kids held still long enough they would be forever preserved in a nice clear sheet of lamination...anyway here is that conversation.

Jen: I am going to start a blog. And in order to make sure I don't ignore everything else I am making it a rule that I can't blog for the day unless the house is clean and my errands are done.
